Known Space Books opened its doors to the public

on 6th February, 1987. The bookshop is owned and operated

by Jacq Felis with much wonderful volunteer assistance.


It was founded upon the conviction that science fiction

is the second most important thing in the universe

(the first being science, of course).



Our formal trading hours are short, so please

take note of them.


Our ambition is to have access to every work of science

fiction ever printed. We're not quite there yet, but we

work on it every day. Currently, we hold about 2,000

new release titles and about 6,000 second hand ones.

We take lists, do special orders, and will help match

you up to the writers and works that suit your tastes.
